During the pandemic in 2020, Caguamas y Navajas was invited to form part of a collective called Artisttree, which brings together (artistic) projects and social causes. That was when Caguamas y Navajas exchanged their urban lifestyle for a forested habitat on the outskirts of Mexico City in order to concentrate on producing their second album, Dimensión del Norte.

The band has been involved in every aspect of the album’s production, from the composition, the recording, the editing, even the creation of videos and album artwork.

On Dimensión del Norte, Caguamas y Navajas assembled 14 tracks in which they looked to project the lifestyle of Mexico City, as well as cultural aspects of television and film of the 90s, utilizing languages such as jazz, bossa, progressive rock and electronic music.

The profits from this project will be utilized to produce a documentary about artistic creation in the public spaces of Mexico City.
